Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how knowledgebasedtrust.com handles personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Art. 13) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This is a static informational website. No user accounts, no shop, no newsletter, no third-party advertising or social-media tracking.

2. Hosting

Hosting provider: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Inhaber René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.

When you visit this website the web server automatically stores the following data in server log files: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname / IP address of the accessing computer, date and time of the request, HTTP status code and data volume. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure and stable website) and is deleted after 7 days. It is not merged with other data sources.

3. Data Protection Overview

What data is collected?

This website collects only the technical data your browser sends automatically (server log files, see above). No contact forms, no user registration, no shopping cart. If you contact us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address and message content solely to respond to your enquiry (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21). You may also withdraw any consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77). SSL / TLS encryption

This site uses TLS encryption throughout. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the padlock symbol in your browser.

Storage duration

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

4. Cookies and localStorage

This website does not set any cookies by default. If you accept analytics tracking (see Section 5), Google Analytics may set first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) for session measurement.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key kbt_consent. localStorage is not a cookie and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings or by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer.

5. Google Analytics 4 — only after explicit consent

No Google Analytics script is loaded, no request is made to Google, and no cookie is set until you explicitly click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or ignore the banner, GA4 never activates during that visit or any future visit until you actively choose to accept.

When you give consent:

• Service provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
• Purpose: Anonymous website usage analysis (page views, session duration, traffic sources, browser and device type).
• Data collected: Anonymised IP address (last octet removed before storage), pages visited, time on page, country-level location, browser and device type. No personally identifying data is stored.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your explicit consent.
• Retention: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).
• Data transfer: Data may be transferred to Google LLC servers in the United States. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (dataprivacyframework.gov).
• IP anonymisation: Enabled (anonymize_ip: true). Your full IP address is never stored.

How to withdraw consent: Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. This removes the stored consent from your browser's localStorage; on your next page view the banner reappears and GA4 will not load until you accept again.

6. Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts (Source Serif 4, Source Sans 3) served exclusively from our own server as self-hosted .woff2 files. No request is made to Google's font servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — no IP address is transmitted to Google for font loading.

7. No Other Third-Party Services

This website does not integrate social media plug-ins, advertising networks (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.), conversion tracking pixels, affiliate tracking, newsletter services, video embeds, payment providers, or any other service that would make external requests without your explicit consent. All assets are served from our own domain.
